The dress is actually a pale pink which looked lovely with my skin and actually looked white when worn. The lace bodice has silver threading which gives just a little sparkle. The dress, as it is a ball gown, is a bit on the heavy side, but there is a strap underneath that helps distribute the weight evenly. I was able to dance like a fool and be on my feet the whole afternoon and night with no problem. This dress made me feel like a total princess! So many people told me it is one of the most beautiful wedding dresses they have ever seen. Only worn once on my wedding day. I was inside all day for both pictures, ceremony, and reception. Nothing was spilled on the dress. Dress has been professionally cleaned. It does look as though the bustle fell somewhat, but that should not be a problem for a seamstress to repair. I hope that whoever buys this dress enjoys it as much as I have! Original Size 24 that was altered at the top to fit my 42" waist and 49" bust and the length was altered to fit my 5'2" height. The dress fit my hips (52"). Bra cups (size D) were sewn in. A simple bustle was sewn in (super easy - my bridesmaid did it in 5 seconds). It has lovely buttons all the way down the back (get a button hook or crochet hook and you'll have it on and off in less than 5 minutes). The lace applique is gorgeous, and when it's bustled you don't lose any of the beauty of the chapel length train because the bustle actually highlights the applique!
