The dress is beautiful and in perfect condition. It was professionally cleaned and sealed after I wore it so it's basically brand new! No blemished or flaws. Alterations include a slight hem (I am 5'9'' and wore flats with it), the bodice was taken in at the waist to fit snuggly, and the sweetheart neckline was taken down about 1/4 of an inch to be more flattering! The seamstress also put in a bustle that is easy to use.
