This stunning Lis Simon bridal gown was the perfect dress for me. I wanted a glamorous dress with beautiful sparkle that I could be comfortable in all day, and this dress was all of that and more. Cut from 40 yards of fabric, this gown is pure luxury! It's light enough to move and dance in, its structured bodice stays in place (no tugging on a falling dress), and the beadwork is even more breathtaking in person.
The beading is a delicate warm silver in color. The dress has a built-in bodice that hooks on the inside, and I wore a strapless bra to supplement. The neckline of the dress has been altered from the original straight-across style to have a small sweetheart effect. It was also slightly altered in at the waist, and altered for length (I am 5'6", 155 lbs., and a true size 8).
Buttons were added for bustling. The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed. I inspected it before listing it. The hooks are intact and the zipper is in great shape. The under layer of the dress does have some light staining and discoloration from being worn and trailing behind me. This layer is not visible, it's covered by the voluminous upper layers.
