Illusion Lace Embellished Plus Size Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Sweetheart Neckline
The dress has lace motifs over a tulle bodice. The lacing is intricate and has places that sparkle in the light. It has illusion lace straps, a sweetheart neckline, a scoop back, and buttons over the zipper. I am a very self-conscious person, but this dress made me feel beautiful. I didn’t feel self-conscious in it for one moment.
There weren’t many alterations done to the dress. I had to take it in about 1/2 inch, made the straps a little smaller, took about 1/2 inch of the height (I am 5’7” and was wearing 2” heels), and I added a bustle.
There are some areas where the stitching on the lace has a piece of string that is sticking out or puffed out a little bit, but you have to really look hard to find them.
